Proposition 65 Statement

Proposition 65 lists chemicals know to the state of California to cancer or reproductive harm or birth defects. In practice, depending on the substance, it requires reasonable notices be given to consumers.

[dt_quote]The list contains a wide range of naturally occurring and synthetic chemicals that are known to cause cancer or birth defects or other reproductive harm. These chemicals include additives or ingredients in pesticides, common household products, food, drugs, dyes, or solvents. Listed chemicals may also be used in manufacturing and construction, or they may be byproducts of chemical processes, such as motor vehicle exhaust.

Related Chemicals and Substances

Note: Prop 65 is a very long and exhaustive list. The list reproduced here may contain errors or omissions. Please consult the office State of California list (linked above). This list is valid as of May 25th, 2018, and may be adjusted or amended without notice. Mere presence on the list does not mean a substance is harmful. For example both wood dust and aspirin on on the list.
